There's good and bad people everywhere, regardless of their allegiances, and it's up to you to decide who to trust, who to avoid, who to fight beside, and who to kill. Similarly, while many of your fellow Sourcerers on the island are good people imprisoned because of abilities they were born with that they can't do anything about, others quickly reveal themselves to be scoundrels wholly deserving of their incarceration. You, as a Sourcerer, have been imprisoned not because of a crime you've committed, but because your innate ability to utilise Source and thus potentially attract Voidwoken presents a very real threat to you and anybody close to you.Ī group called the Magisters are responsible for your imprisonment, and while some of these are from the moustache-twirling school of pantomime villainy, there are many reasonable people amongst their ranks who just think they're acting in service of the greater good, and some who are questioning their faith to the order entirely. Using magic has recently started to attract weird, vile creatures known as Voidwoken, and so Sourcery is considered a bit of a taboo regardless of the intent of the spells being used. There's a mysterious energy called Source that certain people - known as Sourcerers - can channel in the form of magic. The game begins with your character - either one of a number of preset heroes or one that you design yourself - being stranded on an island prison. The journey through to the end credits will take you dozens of hours to complete, and during that time you’ll meet scores of well-written characters, be forced to make many thought-provoking decisions, and fight leagues of formidable, sometimes sympathetic enemies. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. “The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. This walkthrough is currently a work in progress, and some small aspects may be missed. Pages listed in the Side Quests section may list how to acquire and clear them in more detail.įurther, some quests may not be deemed “quests” at all, and will simply reward you experience points or treasure for affecting the world. We will mention Side Quests that you can gather and resolve as well, but we will focus on getting through the story instead for the sake of these pages. As such, the breaks in pages for IGN's walkthrough will be abritrary, mainly based on whatever the “main” quest is for the area. We will attempt not to spoil the story as much as possible in the Walkthrough, and only when it's vitally important.ĭivinity: Original Sin is not divided into conventional chapters, acts, or other specific parts. With a massive number of things to do and places to see, your starting quest to simply investigate a murder winds up being something far more grand. The campaign of Divinity: Original Sin is fairly large.
